McKinty And Wright Solicitors Welcome Newly Promoted Partners

McKinty and Wright are delighted to announce that promotions in 2017 at the Belfast-based firm include three additions to the partnership.

With client’s praising him for “his professionalism, sense of duty and reliability”, Gary Patterson joins the partnership from McKinty and Wright’s Property & Commercial Department. A highly skilled property lawyer, his work includes the negotiation of commercial leases, sales and acquisitions, corporate restructures and building developments. Gary is a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner and leads the firm’s Life Planning team, overseeing the work undertaken for private clients. 

A key member of the firm’s Casualty and Motor Team and Credit Hire lead, Aisling Mellon joins the Partners in McKinty and Wright’s Litigation Department. A defence litigation specialist for leading insurers and retail clients, Aisling has been consistently recognised in independent research conducted by Chambers UK, most recently praised for her ability to "guard the interest of her clients and ensure all potential plaintiffs are placed on their proofs in any action."

Also joining the partnership from the firm’s Litigation Department is Kevin O’Hagan Kevin is a lead advocate in McKinty & Wright’s award-winning defence litigation team. With an enviable repudiation rate, he is a key client account manager, acting for leading insurers, public sector bodies, self-insured businesses and multinationals. Client feedback commends Kevin on “being very thorough" and "keen to drive home our viewpoint and point out the failings in the other side's case."
