Corporate Social Responsibility
Like many of our clients, McKinty and Wright must consider what we do in the wider context of our business and operational obligations.
We are ISO certified in both Quality and Environmental Standards, one of a small number of law firms certified with the Environmental Standard, this demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and to taking a positive environmental approach.
Having worked with Marie Curie, the National Autistic Society and Mencap, our current charity partner is the Alzheimer’s Society.
IMS Policy – Quality, Environmental and Information Security Standards
McKinty and Wright operates an integrated management system (IMS) which is a set of quality, environmental and information security policies and procedures that meet the specific requirements of each of the clauses of ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 27001:2013, as applied to the provision of legal services.
The Partnership's IMS objectives are: (1) service quality (2) sustainable business practices and (3) information security. An extended enterprise risk management approach is taken to the provision of legal services, focusing on the need to deliver cost effectiveness without compromising quality.
Opportunities for process development, risk assessment and continual improvement are managed dynamically and securely by the Partnership. Every member of the team is responsible for the delivery of IMS objectives. Individual roles are defined and the Partners are ultimately responsible for IMS implementation.
IMS policies set out McKinty and Wright’s approach to ensuring that client needs and the needs of other interested parties are securely met. IMS procedures are implemented to ensure that those needs are being met now and will continue to be met in the future.
McKinty and Wright’s IMS is designed to provide an assurance to all clients and interested parties that activities will be completed in accordance to specified requirements. That assurance is supported through documented records, including risk assessment and audit.
